GASB AND FASB APPOINTMENTS

William W. Holder, Ernst & Young Professor of Accounting at the University of Southern California, has been appointed a part-time member of GASB for a five-year term effective July 1. Holder will replace Robert J. Freeman, who is ineligible for reappointment.

G. Michael Crooch, a partner and director of the International Professional Standards Group at Arthur Andersen, has been appointed a member of FASB for a five-year term beginning July 1. Crooch will replace James J. Leisenring, who is ineligible for reappointment. *
